Sadness
*sigh*
Tears mix with the rain that falls on my face as you leave me.
This was supposed to be forever.
But now I just want you to at least acknowledge me.
You said you loved me.
But I guess those were just words you said and didn't mean.
As I stare at you back as you walk away.
All I can do is whisper "Don't go".
But you can't hear me and you don't care.
As I see the last trace of you leave I stand there crying.
I wonder, what did I do that was wrong?
I loved you, cherished you, cared for you.
I guess for you that wasn't enough...
