Promises
You promised me love and that's what I got.
You promised me happiness and that's what I got.
You promised me long lasting memories and that's what I got.
You promised me the truth, that's not what I got.
You promised me you'll be faithful, that's not what I got.
You promised me no pain, that's not what I got.
You promised me all of this.
You gave what you could, and didn't give what you couldn't.
But out of all of these promises, you couldn't promise me no goodbyes?
